कैसी है नार जिस पर उसने ऐतबार किया,
अपने हलके में ही लाखों का कारोबार किया ।
लगे है मजमा अबकी रोज़ आशिकों का वहां
अपने घर को ही उसने हुस्न का बाज़ार किया ।
पहले परदे में हुआ करती थी मोहब्बत जवाँ
अब तो हर साज़ सर-ए-आम गुलज़ार किया
अपनी खुद्दारी पे होता था कभी नाज़ उसे
अब ये हालात उसने जीना भी दुश्वार किया ।
उस खतावार पे ऊँगली भी उठाये न कोई
कुछ ऐसे उसने जुबां को भी तलवार किया ।
